1 Million Pilgrims To Attend Hajj This Year From Around The World

MAKKAH: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that it will conduct this year’s Hajj with participation of Hujjaj from around the world for the first time in 2 years. The Ministry also said that it had set the maximum number of participants to be 1 million, a jump from 60,000 Hujjaj last year under the COVID-19 Precuationary Measures. Among the requirements the Ministry said that the Hujjaj would need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and the maximum age of Hujjaj has been set to 65 years.
